Cross Country Teams Regionally Ranked

Heading into the 2010 season, both the men’s and women’s cross country teams are regionally ranked, according to the preseason U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings.
The women are at the top of the Midwest region. Washington-St. Louis was second while four other WIAC schools appeared in the top 10. The Blugolds captured the Division III national title last year.
The men are tied for 10th in the Midwest region with Chicago and Illinois Wesleyan. The Blugolds took 16th place at the national meet a season ago. Washington-St. Louis leads the region.
