Former Blugold Hockey Player Keith Paulsen Hired as Musketeers’ Assistant Coach

Paulsen Hired as Musketeers’ Assistant Coach

SIOUX CITY — Keith Paulsen has been promoted from a scout to an assistant coach for the Sioux City Musketeers.

The 32-year old Paulsen, a native of Eau Claire, Wis., scouted for the Musketeers in the 2009-10 season. Prior to working for the Musketeers, he was the head hockey coach for seven seasons at Rice Lake (Wis.) High School. In the 2008-09 season, he guided the Warriors to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association state tournament for the first time in 29 years and was named the 2009 Section 2 coach of the year.
