Mon, Dec 2, 2024 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Blugold Super Six Tammy Brandt (Stanius) Tammy Brandt was a four-year soccer letterwinner who went on to stardom in softball after her soccer career was over. A three-time All-Conference and two-year All-State pick in soccer, Brandt set the school records for career goals and assists and single season assists while tying the record for single season goals. She was widely respected, earning NCAA All-Region first, second and third team honors her final three seasons. The Blugolds had winning records every year she played. In softball, she was named All-Conference in both seasons she played. She was the team MVP last year when she hit .450 and compiled a school-record .439 career average. She also set the school single season and career stolen base records with 34 and 67, respectively. Brandt graduated in December with a comprehensive physical education major and has landed a job in her old elementary school in Hopkins, Minnesota, teaching phy ed at the K-8 level. |
