Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Tri-Meet Finds Women's Cross Country Finishing Third Posted: Friday, October 21, 2005 LAKE WISSOTA - The UW-Eau Claire women's cross country team faced UW-Stout and UW-La Crosse and claimed third. Stout collected 23 points, while La Crosse totaled 32. Eau Claire had 130 points on the day. Kristin Seeger (Jr.-Milwaukee/Wisconsin Lutheran) was the top Blugold with a 22nd finish and a 20:08 time. Laura Napier (Fr.-West St. Paul, MN/Henry Sibley) ran 20:27 and claimed the 24th spot. In third for Eau Claire and 25th overall was Megan Peterson (So.-Mankato, MN/Loyola) at 20:32, while Lynn Galston (So.-North Freedom/Baraboo) ended the day in 27th with 20:41. Julie Meis (Fr.-Platteville) concludes the top Eau Claire five with a 21:10 meet and a 32nd place. The women's cross country team's regular season concludes with an 81-9 record. They next run at the WIAC Conference Meet in Superior on October 29th. - PH - |
