Men's Cross Country Finishes Sixth At Home Meet

COLFAX - The men's cross country team finished in the six slot out of 15 teams competing at the Blugold Open Cross Country Meet today on the Whitetail Golf Course.
The Blugolds netted their sixth place finish with 142 points. The winning UM-Duluth team scored 43 points, while second place Luther College had 55. St. Olaf College ended up in third at 81, while UW-River Falls finished fourth as they placed 113 points. St. John's University rounds out the top five placing 139.
UW-Eau Claire had three runners in the top 25. Of the 320 participants, Adam Wolfe (So.-Marshfield) finished 19th as he ran the eight kilometers in 27:05. Nate Hall (Sr.-Green Bay/Preble) ran it in 27:09 and finished 23rd. Right behind him was the other Hall as Kevin Hall (Fr.-Green Bay/Preble) had a 27:11 race and earned a 24th place finish. The overall winner was Adam Bohach of Luther College, who ran the race shoeless and finished in 25:28.
The Blugolds now take a break until October 8th, when they travel to Waverly, IA for the Wartburg long/short.
