Fri, May 24, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Golf Finishes Third At Iwu Fall Classic Posted: Sunday, September 18, 2005 NORMAL, IL - The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team finished a solid third today at Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic. The Blugolds had their third straight top five finish as a team today finishing in third 14 strokes back of champion DePauw University and just six strokes back of second place Illinois Wesleyan. Finishing tied for third individually was Maggie Loney (Sr.-River Falls) at 3-over par. She shot an even final round of 72. Right behind her finishing fifth was Meghan Sabotta (So.-Arcadia), who finished at 4-over par. Sabotta has finished in the top five in every event thus far. Jessica Thompson (Jr.-Plover/SPASH) finished 17th overall for the Blugolds at 11-over par. The next event for the Blugolds is at Carthage College Friday.
