Men's Cross Country Places Eighth At The Mcc

KENOSHA - The UW-Eau Claire men's cross country team placed a strong eighth out of 22 teams today at the Midwest Collegiate Championship in Kenosha.
Calvin College won the meet with 44 points having every member of their team finish in the top 25 overall. The Blugolds point total on the day was 274.
The Blugolds had three runners place in the top 50 overall. Nate Hall (Sr.-Green Bay/Preble) led the pace for the Blugolds finishing 43rd overall. Not far behind him were runners Kevin Hall (Fr.-Green Bay/Preble) and Jules Miller (Fr.-Green Bay, WI/East) who finished 47th and 48th respectively.
The Blugolds next meet will be the Blugold open on Friday (Sep.30) to be held in Colfax.
Top Ten Team Scores: 1.) Calvin College 44; 2.) Wayne State 44; 3.) North Central College 67; 4.) UW-La Crosse 69; 5.) UW-Oshkosh 171; 6.) Michigan Tech 226; 7.) UW-Parkside 234; 8.) UW-Eau Claire 274; 9.) UW-Green Bay 282; 10) Kenyon College 291.
