Tue, May 21, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Golf Fourth After Day One Of Iwu Fall Classic Posted: Saturday, September 17, 2005 NORMAL, IL - The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team shot a 310 to finish fourth after day one of the 23-team Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic here today at Ironwood Country Club. DePauw (IN) is in first place with a 295 followed by the Division II University of Indianapolis at 303 and Illinois Wesleyan at 308. The Blugolds are ahead of conference schools UW-Oshkosh at 314, UW-Stevens Point at 320, UW-Whitewater at 329 and UW-Platteville at 347. Meghan Sobotta (So.-Arcadia) is tied for fourth place with a first round total of 73. Sobotta is four strokes off first rounder leader Lauren Brummett of DePauw with a 69. Maggie Loney (Sr.-River Falls) tied for 10th with a 75 and Jesse Thompson (Jr.-Plover/SPASH) tied for 13th with a 76. The Blugolds will finish play at the two-day IWU Fall Classic tomorrow.
