Fri, May 24, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Pirkl Named To All-American Third Team Posted: Monday, May 16, 2005 EAU CLAIRE - Derek Pirkl (Jr. -Stoughton) has been named to the Ping All-All-American Third Team, it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Pirkl recently finished in a tie for 26th place with an 18-over 306 at the NCAA Division III National Championship. He led the Blugolds in with an average of 74.53 strokes per round. Pirkl finished in the top five in three events this year. He tied for second at the St. John's Spring Invite at 1-under, tied for third at the Gustie Spring Classic at 5-over and finished fourth at the Loras Spring Invitational at 2-over.
