Fri, May 24, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Track Competes At Drake Alternative Posted: Saturday, April 30, 2005 ST. PETER, MN - Several members of the UW-Eau Claire men's track and field team traveled to Gustavus Adolphus College to compete at the Drake Alternative today posting five top five finishes. In the 3,000-meter steeplechase Zach Severson (So.-Sun Prairie) and Micah Hernandez (Jr.-Milwaukee/Wisconsin Lutheran) placed second and third, respectively. Severson set a season best time of 9:51.9 cutting 10 seconds off his previous top time. Hernandez finished in 10:03.0. Jacob Truebenbach (Fr.-Shakopee, MN) finished third in the shot put with a heave of 46-11.75. Drew Bingner (Fr.-Fort Atkinson) took fourth in the javelin with a toss of 148-0, topping his previous season-best by nearly six feet. Ryan Brohmer (Fr.-La Crosse/Logan) rounded out the top five finishes for the Blugolds finishing fifth in the discus. |
