Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Blugold Track & Field Competes At Drake Relays Posted: Friday, April 29, 2005 DES MOINES, Iowa - Three relay teams from the UW-Eau Claire women's track and field team and John Schuna (Sr. -Hudson) from the men's team competed at the Drake Relays here today at Drake Stadium. The Blugold 4x100 women's relay had a season-best time of 48.55 seconds but was unable to advance to the finals. The 4x400 team also set a season-best time finishing in 3:53.70 but missed the finals by less than a second. The 4x200 team finished in 1:47.08 but failed to advance to the finals. Schuna finished 15th with a toss of 53-1 feet in a shot put competition filled with mostly Division I athletes. Eau Claire will be back in action at the Relays tomorrow when the women's sprint medley relay team competes. - JL - |
