Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Golf Finishes Ninth At Bvu Spring Invite Posted: Saturday, April 16, 2005 STORM LAKE, Iowa - The UW-Eau Claire men's golf team shot a two-day score of 617 to take ninth place at the Buena Vista Spring Invitational concluded here today at Lake Creek Country Club. Gustavus Adolphus took first edging out Indian Hills Community College by one stroke with a two-day score of 583. Brad Smith of Indian Hills took first individually shooting a 6-under for the invite. Grant Lissick (Jr.-Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake) paced the Blugolds shooting a 4-over for the tournament to tie for 14th. Tyler Leis (So.-Reedsburg) shot the best Eau Claire round today with a 76 to shoot 10-over for the invite and tie for 35th. Derek Pirkl (Jr.-Stoughton) and Mason Milner (Fr.-Onalaska) each shot 15-over for the tourney to tie for 51st. Mike Greer (So.-White Bear Lake, MN) finished 21-over to tie for 77th. Eau Claire will tee off next when it competes in the Gustie Spring Classic Monday and Tuesday.
