Tue, May 21, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Golf Holds 10th At Bvu Spring Invite Posted: Friday, April 15, 2005 STORM LAKE, Iowa - The UW-Eau Claire men's golf team shot a 15-over 303 to hold 10th place after the first day of the Buena Vista Spring Invitational held here today at Spencer Country Club. Grant Lissick (Jr.-Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake) paced Eau Claire with a 1-under 71 to finish the day tied for fifth. Mike Greer (So.-White Bear Lake, MN) and Mason Milner (Fr.-Onalaska) each shot a 5-over 77 to tie for 46th after the opening round. Tyler Leis (So.-Reedsburg) is one shot back at 78 and tied 56th while Derek Pirkl (Jr.-Stoughton) finished the day tied for 72nd with an 80. Nebraska Wesleyan is alone in first with a 283 followed by Indian Hills Community College at 287 and Luther College at 290. Indian Hills' Brad Smith is first individually with a 6-under 66. The tournament will conclude tomorrow with action starting at 8:30 a.m.
