Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Nordenskjold, Znidarsich Take Second At Ncta Tourney Posted: Friday, April 15, 2005 LA CROSSE - Aaron Nordenskjold (So. -Red Wing, MN) and Jake Znidarsich (Fr. -La Crosse/Central) took second place in the one doubles bracket of the Northern Collegiate Tennis Association Tournament held here today. Nordenskjold and Znidarsich breezed through the first two rounds winning 8-2 in the opening round and 8-3 in the second round. The tandem fell in the championship to Oshkosh's Jeff Hagman and Todd Miller 8-2. The pairs of Jeff Peterson (So.-Edina, MN) and C.J. Rose (Fr.-Lakeville, MN/Apple Valley) and Brandon Buth (Fr.-Appleton/West) and Mike Borgertpoepping (Fr.-Owatonna, MN) each competed in the two doubles portion of the invite. Both tandems lost in the opening round but came back to win their consolation matches. Peterson and Rose defeated Buth and Borgertpoepping 8-5 in the fifth place match. Action will continue tomorrow with singles action at 8:30 a.m.
