Men's Tennis Faults At Whitewater

WHITEWATER - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team fell to Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent UW-Whitewater 5-2 here today.

Tim Eisele (Fr.-Lakeville, MN/Apple Valley) and Erik Brandner (Fr.-Eau Claire/Memorial) earned the only two Blugolds wins today.

Eisele won 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 at three singles to improve to 10-5 while Brandner won 6-3, 6-3 at five singles to move to 12-3 on the year.

The loss drops Eau Claire's record to 8-5.

The Blugolds will be back in action tomorrow when they play UW-Oshkosh and UW-La Crosse in dual meets. Eau Claire will play Oshkosh at 9 a.m. and La Crosse at 1 p.m.
