Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Tennis Falls To Mankato Posted: Sunday, April 3, 2005 WINONA, Minn. - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team concluded its season with a 6-3 loss to Minnesota State-Mankato here today. The bottom half of the singles lineup earned all three Blugold points. Lindsay Lee (Sr.-Eau Claire/Memorial) won 6-1, 6-2 at four singles to finish the season 11-6. Molly Hunt (So.-Owatonna, MN) won 6-4, 6-2 at five singles while Liz Deprey (Fr.-Green Bay/Notre Dame) won 6-4, 6-2 at six singles. Kristie Carlson (Fr.-Arden Hills, MN/Mounds View) split the first two sets of her match but dropped the decisive third set 6-4. Katie Kuzma (Jr.-Buffalo, MN) lost a close first set 7-6 and couldn't recover to finish the season 11-9 at one singles and 16-11 overall. Eau Claire finishes the year with a 7-7 record in dual meets and a 14-11-1 record overall. The Blugolds ended the season with a 61-47 combined singles record while going 35-25 in doubles action.
