Mon, May 20, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Golf Holds Fourth At Loras Invitational Posted: Saturday, April 2, 2005 DUBUQUE, Iowa - The UW-Eau Claire men's golf team shot a 16-over 304 to finish the first day of the Loras Spring Invitational in fourth place. Derek Pirkl (Jr.-Stoughton) shot a 1-under 71 to finish the first day alone in third place. Pirkl shot a 36 on the front nine and 35 on the back. Tyler Leis (So.-Reedsburg) is tied for 27th after shooting a 5-over 77 while Grant Lissick (Jr.-Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake) and Cole Stark (So.-Eau Claire/Memorial) each shot a 78 to tie for 36th. Mike Greer (So.-White Bear Lake, MN) shot an 81 and is tied for 65th. St. Ambrose University is in first place after the opening round with a 296. Illinois Wesleyan is second with a 302 followed by Mount Mercy College at 303. The invite will conclude tomorrow with play starting at 9 a.m.
