Sun, May 26, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date McKinney Named WIAC Softball Pitcher Of The Week Posted: Tuesday, March 29, 2005 MADISON - UW-Eau Claire pitcher Mallory McKinney (So. -Brooklyn Park, MN/Champlin Park) has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek. McKinney went 4-1 with wins over Eastern Connecticut State, Ramapo (N.J.), Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.) and Fontbonne (Mo.) in UW-Eau Claire's spring trip to Florida. She allowed six earned runs in 38.2 innings pitched for a 1.08 ERA. McKinney registered 33 strikeouts and opponents batted .178 against her. She had a career-high 14 strikeouts in the victory over Concordia-Moorhead. |
