ORLANDO, Fla. - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis blanked its second straight opponent defeating Bethel College 9-0 in the spring break finale here today.

The Blugolds played well in singles action with the top five singles players winning in straight sets. One singles player Katie Kuzma (Jr.-Buffalo, MN) and two singles player Sarah Riordan (Fr.-Appleton/North) breezed through the match with Kuzma winning 6-0, 6-1 and Riordan winning 6-0, 6-0.

The doubles teams also played well with Kuzma and Laura Geissler (So.-Coon Rapids, MN) winning 8-5 at one doubles.

Eau Claire improves to 7-6 in dual meets and 14-10-1 overall.

The Blugolds will conclude the season when they play a triangular with Minnesota State-Mankato and Missouri Western Sunday, April 3.

No. 6 - Kristin Neuman (EC) def. Andrea Beegle (BC), 7-6, 6-7, 10-5.
