Fri, May 24, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Tennis Blanked By Wellesley Posted: Monday, March 21, 2005 ORLANDO, Fla. - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team fell to 13th-ranked Wellesley College 9-0 here today. Sarah Riordan (Fr.-Appleton/North) and Alli Taplin (So.-Dayton, MN/Champlin Park) won the most games of any Blugolds. Riordan and Taplin each took four games off their opponent at two and six singles, respectively. Wellesley features the Northeast's sixth-ranked doubles team in Jenna Mezin and Hali Walther and the Northeast's eighth-ranked singles player in Mezin. Katie Kuzma (Jr.-Buffalo, MN) managed to win three games over Mezin at one singles. The loss drops Eau Claire's record to 5-5 in dual meets and 12-9-1 overall.
