SAN ANTONIO - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team started its three match spring break trip in Texas with a 7-0 loss to the University of Chicago.

All but one Blugold competing in singles action lost in straight sets. Jeff Peterson (So.-Edina, MN) dropped the first game 1-6 against Joseph Tchan at No. 4 singles but bounced back with a 6-1 win the second game. A hard fought decisive game three ended with a 6-7 loss for Peterson.

The men's tennis team will be back in action Tuesday to battle Texas Lutheran in Seguin, Texas.

No. 6 - Bharath Sithian (UC) def. Chris Baga (EC), 6-1, 6-1.
