Tue, May 21, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Tennis Wins Fifth Straight Posted: Friday, March 4, 2005 WINONA, Minn. - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team won its fifth consecutive dual meet in defeating St. Mary's University 5-4 here tonight. The bottom of the singles lineup carried the Blugolds with three singles player Tim Eisele (Fr.-Lakeville, MN/Apple Valley) winning 6-2, 6-0 to improve to 7-2 on the year. Jeff Peterson (So.-Edina, MN) won 6-0, 6-4 at four singles, Erik Brandner (Fr.-Eau Claire/Memorial) won 7-6, 6-2 at five singles and Chris Baga (So.-Duluth, MN/Marshall College Prep) won 6-0, 6-1 at six singles. Eisele and Aaron Nordenskjold (So.-Red Wing, MN) won 8-4 at two doubles for the only Eau Claire win in doubles action. The Blugolds will be in action next when they host a mixed fundraiser tomorrow at YMCA Tennis Center. Action is scheduled to start at noon.
