Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Johnson Leads Blugolds At Pointer Qualifier Posted: Saturday, February 26, 2005 STEVENS POINT - Eric Johnson (So. -Schofield/D.C. Everest) took first in the long jump and third in the triple jump at the Pointer Qualifier held here today in the Health Enhancement Center. Johnson won the long jump with a distance of 21-7 - feet and took third in the triple jump with an effort of 44-9 - feet. Adam Koger (So.-Eau Claire/Memorial) finished first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.70 seconds. Koger's time earned him a provisional qualification. Nick Aliota (So.-Brookfield/Central) finished second in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.02 seconds. John Schuna (Sr.-Hudson) had a strong day in the field taking third in the shot put and fifth in the weight throw. Schuna's shot put toss of 53-2 - feet and weight throw of 54-9 - feet earned him provisional qualifications. Stephanie Barnes (So.-Sauk City/Sauk Prairie) took second in the women's pole vault clearing 11-3 - feet which earned her a provisional qualification. Both the men and women will be in action next when they compete in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships Friday and Saturday.
