Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date stafslien Has strong Showing At Ole Open Posted: Friday, February 25, 2005 NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Jen Stafslien (Sr. -Onalaska/West Salem) finished first in the 55-meter hurdles and second in the triple jump at the Ole Open held here today. Stafslien ran the 55-meter hurdles in 8.51 seconds in the qualifying round and won the finals in a time of 8.45 seconds. Stafslien took second in the triple jump with a distance of 36-4 - feet. Liz Faller (So.-Marinette) finished second behind Stafslien in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.59 seconds. Christina Locke (So.-Racine/Horlick) finished second in the mile run with a time of 5:17.55 while Sarah Kasabian-Larson (Sr.-East Peoria, IL/E.P.C.H.S.) took third in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:54.14. Jessica Owens (Fr.-Elm Grove/Brookfield East) took second in the high jump clearing 5-5 feet. The Blugold relay teams had a strong showing with the 800-meter relay team taking second and the 4x400-meter relay team taking third. Eau Claire will be in action next when it competes in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships Friday and Saturday.
