Tue, May 21, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women Netters Fall To St. Scholastica Posted: Saturday, February 19, 2005 DULUTH, Minn. - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team opened the spring season with an 8-1 loss to the College of St. Scholastica here tonight. Molly Hunt (So.-Owatonna, MN) and Sarah Riordan (Fr.-Appleton/North) earned the only Blugolds win. Hunt and Riordan won 8-6 at two doubles. Hunt took her battle at four singles to a third set but fell 16-14 in a marathon final set. Hunt took the first set but dropped the next two. The Blugolds will be in action next when they compete in a Mixed Doubles Fundraiser Saturday, March 5. St. Scholastica 8, Eau Claire 1 Singles No. 1 - Emily Jackola (SS) def.
