Gymnasts Upend Winona state

WINONA, Minn. - The UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team won all four events in defeating Winona State 178.375-145.700 here today in McCown Gymnasium.
The Blugolds owned the uneven bars taking the top three spots. Theresa Lynch (Fr.-Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake) took first with a 9.050 followed by Alison Eagles (Sr.-Shoreview, MN/Mounds View) with an 8.950.
Lynn Morris (Jr.-Monticello, IN/Twin Lakes) won the balance beam with a team season-best 9.475. Eagles finished third in the all-around competition with a 35.700.
Eau Claire improves to 8-6 overall and 2-1 in dual meets with the win.
The Blugolds will be in action next when they compete in the John Zuerlein Invitational Friday in Menomonie. The invite is set to begin at 7 p.m.
