Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Tennis Blanked By Luther Posted: Friday, February 18, 2005 DECORAH, Iowa - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team fell to Luther College 7-0 here tonight to fall to 2-2 on the season. Jeff Peterson (So.-Edina, MN) and Jake Znidarsich (Fr.-La Crosse/Central) earned the only Blugold win taking a closely contested match 9-8. Peterson and Znidarsich improve to 4-0 on the year. Tim Eisele (Fr.-Lakeville, MN/Apple Valley) and Peterson each forced a third set tiebreaker but were unable to pull out the win. Eisele won a first set tiebreaker at three singles but dropped the second to force the deciding third set. Peterson also took the first set but dropped the second and third sets at four singles. The Blugolds will be in action next when they play Simpson College and Hamline University tomorrow.
