Sun, May 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Broomball, Figure Skating Part Of Hockey Season Finale Posted: Wednesday, February 16, 2005 EAU CLAIRE - A performance by the Eau Claire Figure Skating Club and a broomball game will highlight the between period activities at the UW-Eau Claire women's hockey series finale this weekend at the Hobbs Ice Center. The Blugolds will host first-year Northern Collegiate Hockey Association member Finlandia University in 7:05 p.m. contests both Friday and Saturday at Hobbs. Friday night, between the first and second periods, the Eau Claire Figure Skating Club will perform. A chuck-a-puck contest will take place between the second and third periods. Fans can purchase a puck for $1 which will give them a chance to toss it at a target on the ice between periods for prizes. Saturday night between periods, the UWEC women's hockey alumni will face Blugold football players in a broomball game. -TP- |
