Tue, Jun 18, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Tennis To Host St. Norbert Posted: Thursday, February 10, 2005 EAU CLAIRE - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team will open up their home schedule with St. Norbert College Saturday at the McPhee Phy. Ed. Center. The young Blugolds started their season with a 7-2 loss to St. Cloud State. Newcomer Erik Brandner (Fr.-Eau Claire/Memorial) earned the only singles win with a 6-3, 6-3 win at six singles. The tandem of Jake Znidarsich (Fr.-La Crosse/Central) and Jeff Peterson (So.-Edina, MN) won 8-5 at three doubles. St. Norbert opens up their spring season with the dual meet against Eau Claire. The Green Knights went 12-5 during the fall season while finishing third at the Midwest Conference Tournament. Aaron Sunday went 20-0 during the fall season including 16-0 in one singles matches. The dual meet is scheduled to begin at noon. - JL - |
