Sun, May 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Tennis Falls In Season Opener Posted: Friday, February 4, 2005 SARTELL, Minn. - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team opened the spring season with a 7-2 loss to St. Cloud State today at the Gold's Gym Tennis Complex. Erik Brandner (Fr.-Eau Claire/Memorial) won his debut match as a Blugold with a 6-3, 6-3 win at six singles. Jake Znidarsich (Fr.-La Crosse/Central) and Jeff Peterson (So.-Edina, MN) earned the other Eau Claire point. Znidarsich and Peterson won 8-5 at three singles to earn the win. The Blugolds will be in action next when they compete against St. Olaf Friday. The dual meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. St. Cloud State 7, Eau Claire 2 Singles Results No. 1 - Tony Larson (SC) def. Chris Slagle (EC) 6-0, 6-0. No. 2 - Titus Christianson (SC) def.
