(UWECBlugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire Athletics Department will once again hold Blugold Booster Gatherings, as Director of Athletics Scott Kilgallon announced the full schedule today. New for this season, Head Football Coach Todd Glaser will host 5th Quarter events at Sammy’s 5th Quarter Bar & Grill, located on London Road (in the back of Sammy’s Pizza). The weekly events will start at 7 p.m. Thursdays, beginning Sept. 8. Boosters will be able to order a meal from a special menu each night. After the football season, the Blugolds will switch gears to the winter sports. As has been done in the past, the gatherings will be luncheons which will take place at noon on Tuesdays in the Rosewood Room at Americas Best Value Inn. Mancino’s will cater the events, which cost $8 per person. The first Court N’ Rink Luncheon is scheduled for November 15 and a total of six events will be held between November 15 and February 21. Head Women’s Basketball Coach Tonja Englund, Head Men’s Basketball Coach Kyle Green, Head Women’s Hockey Coach Mike Collins and Head Men’s Hockey Coach Matt Loen will each host events in the winter.
