Miresse Earns Weekly WIAC Honor By: Kevin Meinholz, Sports Information Director MADISON, Wis. (UWECBlugolds.com) - UW-Eau Claire women's track & field member Kim Miresse (Jr.-Waukesha, Wis./North) has been named a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Athlete of the Week, WIAC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Matt Stanek announced today. Competing at the Wartburg (Iowa) Select, where the Blugolds finished in fifth place, Miresse won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.75. Her mark was an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time. |
