(UWECBlugolds.com) - UW-Eau Claire women's track and field member Liz Amici (Sr.-Whitewater, Wis.) has been named a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Athlete of the Week, WIAC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Matt Stanek announced today. At UW-Stevens Point’s Pointer Invitational Feb. 5, Amici won the pentathlon with a score of 3,113 points, a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying total. As a team, the Blugolds took second out of 13 teams. |
