Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Hockey Blanked By Yellowjackets Posted: Saturday, January 15, 2005 SUPERIOR - The UW-Eau Claire men's hockey team was shut out for the first time this year in losing to 3rd-ranked and unbeaten UW-Superior 6-0 here tonight at Wessman Arena. The Yellowjackets scored two goals in the first period, three in the second and one in the final to earn the win. Superior goalie Mathieu Bonnelly stopped all 25 Blugold shots. Steffan Braunlich (Jr.-Playa del Rey, CA/Loyola) made 34 saves in the loss. The Blugolds fall to 1-3-2 in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association and 8-6-3 overall with the loss.
