ST. PAUL, Minn. (UWECBlugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire soccer team fell for the second game in a row, dropping a contest 2-0 against Macalester College (Minn.) tonight.
The Blugolds, who came into the game winning three straight against the Scots, fell for the first time since 2006. Macalester leads the all-time series 9-4-1.
In tonight’s game, Eau Claire outshot Macalester 20-15 but the teams were nearly even with shot-on-goal attempts as the Blugolds finished with seven to the Scot’s six.
