(UWECBlugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team is currently in first place out of 13 teams after round one of the Carleton College Invitational at Northfield Golf Club today. Eau Claire has 322 strokes (+4) to lead the field while Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) has 326, in second place. Holding the third position is Carleton College (Minn.) with 332 strokes. Katie Maurer (So.-Forest Lake, Minn./Convent of the Visitation) leads the Blugolds and is tied for second place in the 66-golfer field. She totaled 77 strokes today. Catherine Wagner (Fr.-Austin, Minn.) sits in fifth place with 79 strokes. The tournament will conclude tomorrow. |
