Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Sikora Named WIAC Wrestler Of The Week Posted: Tuesday, December 14, 2004 MADISON - UW-Eau Claire wrestler Derek Sikora (Jr. -Neillsville) was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Wrestler of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek. Sikora improved his record to 6-0 on the season with two wins in two separate dual matches this week. Ranked second nationally at 165 pounds, Sikora notched the only Blugold victory over fifth-ranked UW-La Crosse pinning Jerad Clark at 3:54. On Saturday, Sikora scored an 18-5 major decision victory over Jerry Blahut of Milwaukee School of Engineering. |
