Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Probst Earns First Team All-WIAC Honors By: Kevin Meinholz, Sports Information Director MADISON, Wis. (UWECBlugolds.com) - Geoff Probst (Sr.-Moose Lake, Minn.) has been named a first team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) selection, conference sports information director Matt Stanek announced today. Probst led the Blugolds in scoring this season as he averaged 13.2 points per game while he also led in rebounding with 6.2 boards per game. He went 47-for-110 (42.7 percent) from beyond the arc, which ranked fifth in the conference. Probst finished his career with 1,064 points, which ranks 30th on the Blugolds' all-time scoring list. Colin Boone (Sr.-Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team, which is chosen for individuals that displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season. Boone was third on the team, averaging 9.2 points per game, while he led the team and was second in the WIAC with 100 assists. |
