(UWECBlugolds.com) - UW-Eau Claire women's hockey players Kristin Faber (Jr.-Austin, Minn.) and Beth Dittrich (Sr.-Roseville, Minn./Roseville Area) have been selected to this year's All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) First Team, conference sports information director Brian Monahan announced today. Faber, who also received first team recognition last year and was an honorable mention selection two years ago, leads the Blugolds this season with 19 goals and 33 points, both of which are second best in the NCHA. The 33 points and 19 goals is also a school record in each category for most in a season. Faber currently has 80 career points, which is a school record. Dittrich leads the Blugolds with 17 assists on the year while she has 28 total points, second best on the team. She is tied for first on the team with three game-winning goals. Dittrich's 28 points is second on the school's list for most points in a season while her 17 assists is a school record. In her career, she has 75 points, which is tied with two others for most points in a career. Last season she was honorably mentioned on the All-NCHA team. |
