Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date First Kid's Night Out Event Set For Friday By: Kevin Meinholz, Sports Information Director EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The UW-Eau Claire athletics program will sponsor four Kid's Night Out events this season, with the first one scheduled for this Friday, December 4. The other dates are January 29th, February 12th and March 12th. Head football coach Todd Glaser and his staff will direct the event for three hours on the Friday nights. The cost is $10 per child. Parents can drop off their children at the McPhee Physical Education Center at 6 p.m. and pick them up by 9 p.m. Blugold athletic teams will watch and entertain the children through activities in the swimming pool, gymnasium and classroom. Children from kindergarten through seventh grade (ages 5-12) will be accepted. A first responder will be present to assist with the event. Children will not be permitted to leave the building until picked up by a parent or guardian. Registration can be done on site or by downloading the registration form from the UW-Eau Claire Athletics web site and bringing it already completed. |
