(UWECBlugolds.com) - UW-Eau Claire women's hockey player Christine Dickinson (Jr.-Layton, Utah/Shattuck-St. Mary's) has been selected as this week's Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week, conference sports information director Brian Monahan announced today. Dickinson recorded five goals last weekend as the Blugolds split the series against Adrian College (Mich.). On Saturday the Blugolds won 7-2 and Dickinson picked up a hat-trick with two goals in the second period, including the eventual game-winner, and one in the third. Despite a 6-3 loss on Friday, Dickinson was part of each one of the Blugolds' goals, scoring the first two and picking up an assist on the third. She now leads Eau Claire with seven goals and nine points on the season. |
