(UWECBlugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team received its highest ranking ever in the Golf World/NGCA Division III Coaches' Poll, which was recently announced. The Blugolds are ranked second in the poll, moving up one spot from the previous poll. Eau Claire won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship this season, the sixth in program history. The six titles is a league-best. Prior to the WIAC Championship, the Blugolds took second place in three tournaments while finishing third in another. 10-time NCAA Division III national champion Methodist University is the only team ranked higher than the Blugolds at No. 1. |
