Thu, Jun 20, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Cross Country Breaks into Top Five in Nation By: Kevin Meinholz, Sports Information Director NEW ORLEANS, La. (UWECBlugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire women's cross country team is currently ranked fourth in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III national poll, announced today. The Blugolds had previously been ranked sixth but after an impressive win at the Tori Neubauer Invitational last weekend, they moved up two spots. Eau Claire also won the Blugold open the meet before while taking third in its first two meets of the season. The Eau Claire men also moved up in the national rankings from 35th to 30th this week. Friday the Blugolds will host the Lake Wissota Meet. Action will get underway at 4 p.m. |
