(UWECBlugolds.com) - UW-Eau Claire women's tennis players Brenna McCormick (Sr.-Greendale, Wis.) and Erin Welch (Sr.-Tomah, Wis.) have earned Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference athlete of the week honors for doubles play, conference sports information director Matt Stanek announced today. The duo picked up two victories during the week at No. 2 doubles. They dropped just five games enroute to defeating UW-River Falls' Cassie Wood/Stacia Kozel (8-1) on Oct. 13, and UW-La Crosse's Carlie Bohrman/Sarah Schoenwaelder (8-4) on Oct. 16. |
