The Blugolds score after one round is 324, nine strokes behind leader Washington University-St. Louis. Olivet College follows the Blugolds with a score of 330 while host Illinois Wesleyan sits in fourth place with a score of 335. Individually, Jessica Urban of UW-Stevens Point leads the pack of 112 golfers with a score of 72 (E). The Blugolds' highest finisher individually is Catherine Wagner (Fr.-Austin, Minn.) who ended today's play tied for sixth place with a score of 79. Eau Claire's next finisher was Jamie Hauser (So.-Hartland, Wis.) who tied for eighth place with a stroke count of 80. Torie Ives (Sr.-Osseo, Wis.) tied for 10th place with 81 strokes while Katie Maurer (So.-Forest Lake, Minn.) finished with a score of 84, tying for 27th place. Emily Swift (So.-Onalaska, WI/Onalaska) tied for 49th place with a score of 87. Blugolds golfing as Individuals today were Lauren Gault (So.-Shorewood, Wis.) and Katie Swift (Jr.-Onalaska, Wis.). Gault is currently tied for 17th with 83 strokes, while Katie Swift shot 84 and is tied for 27th. The Blugolds will finish up the tournament tomorrow and will begin teeing off at 9 a.m. |
