Thu, Jan 23, 2025 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Cross Country Takes Seventh at Luther Invite By: BJ Pickard, Sports Information Student DECORAH, Iowa (UWECBlugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire men's cross country team placed seventh out of eight teams in today's Luther All-American Invite at Luther College. The team finished with 150 points and an average time of 21:57 over the four mile race. UW-La Crosse took the top spot with 46 points. The Blugolds were led by Conor Rafferty (Fr.-Menomonee Falls, Wis.), taking 21st in 21:44. Michael Borglin (So.-Whitewater, Wis.) finished with a time of 21:53 in 27th place. Kyle Kopidlansky (Sr.-Manitowoc, Wis.) and Philip Schommer (Fr.-Kimberly, Wis.) both finished in 22:02, in 33rd and 34th, respectively. Jake Zander (So.-Chippewa Falls, Wis.) was right behind with a time of 22:03 and took 35th place. The 31st-ranked Blugolds next compete at the University of Minnesota's Roy Griak Invite on Saturday, September 26th in St. Paul, Minn., where the Blugolds' varsity squad will make its first appearance this season. |
