Dunleavy Named WIAC Hockey Player Of The Week

MADISON - UW-Eau Claire men's hockey forward Chip Dunleavy (Jr. -Littleton, CO/Columbine) was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Men's Hockey Player of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek.
Dunleavy helped UW-Eau Claire to wins over Augsburg (Minn.) and Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.) during the week. In a 7-4 win over the Auggies on November 19, he tallied two short-handed goals, which were UW-Eau Claire's fourth and sixth goals of the contest. Dunleavy also contributed in the Blugolds' 4-1 win over the Cobbers on November 20. He tied the game with an even-strength goal after UW-Eau Claire had fallen to a 1-0 deficit.
