Tue, Jun 18, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Stalker Takes CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors Posted: Thursday, May 7, 2009 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - UW-Eau Claire softball shortstop Katie Stalker (Jr.-Madison, Wis./La Follette) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District 5 Third Team College Division, CoSIDA officials announced today. Stalker, an accounting major with a 3.61 GPA, leads the Blugolds this season with a .448 batting average with 60 hits in 134 at-bats, which also ranks as sixth best in the conference. She recently earned All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) first team honors. This is the first time in her career she earned both All-WIAC first team and CoSIDA Academic All-District honors. Stalker has appeared on UW-Eau Claire's Dean's List once and has claimed Academic Distinction honors three times. She is also a two-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. - KM - |
