Sun, May 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Golf In Eighth At Bobby Krig Invite Posted: Monday, April 20, 2009 LE SUEUR, Minn. - Following round one of Gustavus Adolphus College's Bobby Krig Invitational at La Sueur Country Club, the Blugolds are in eighth place out of 15 teams. With the teams playing 36 holes today, St. John's University led with 596 strokes. Luther College is in second with 597 while St. John's second team is in third with 607 strokes. The Blugolds shot 625 on the day for their eighth place spot. St. John's Ben Cahill shot 69 through the first 18 holes and followed that with 74 on the second set for a total of 143 on the day to lead the 82-golfer field. K.R. Rucker (Fr.-Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) led the Blugolds on the day as he tied for 10th with 151 strokes. Jake Brookshaw (Fr.-River Falls, Wis.) shot 158 and is tied for 33rd while Jimmy Hutchings (Fr.-Hudson, Wis.) is tied for 42nd while he shot 160. Ryan Grip (So.-Wausau, Wis./East) totaled 161 while tying for 46th and Loren Churness (So.-Durand, Wis.) finished the 36-hole round with 165 strokes, tying for 57th. Tomorrow the golfers will finish the Bobby Krig Invite with 18 holes at the Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan, Minn. - KM - |
