Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Golf In Fourth At St. Thomas Invite Posted: Saturday, April 18, 2009 BECKER, Minn. - The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team is currently in fourth place out of 13 teams after the first round of the University of St. Thomas Invitational at Pebble Creek Golf Course today. Gustavus Adolphus College currently leads the field with 308 strokes while UW-Stevens Point is in second with 323. The College of St. Benedict shot 329 and is in third and the Blugolds totaled 336 for fourth. Host St. Thomas is one stroke behind the Blugolds in fifth. Emily Swift (Fr.-Onalaska, Wis.) led the Blugolds today with 81 strokes and is tied for 12th place overall. Katie Maurer (Forest Lake, Minn./Convent of the Visitation) finished with 82 strokes and is in 15th. With 85 strokes on the day, Torie Ives (Jr.-Osseo, Wis./Osseo-Fairchild) is tied for 23rd while Katie Swift (So.-Onalaska, Wis.) shot 88 and is in 32nd place. Lauren Gault (Fr.-Shorewood, Wis.) is currently tied for 33rd after totaling 89. The Blugolds will wrap up action at the St. Thomas Invitational tomorrow.
